Minimal Job Duties:
The technician will be a team member of the cross function team that provides Land Based Test and Training site engineering support to V Department at NSWC Dahlgren.
Mandatory Skill Requirements (must have):
The Technician shall have two (2) years of general experience in Navy Combat system engineering as defined in the General Combat System Engineering Experience.
The Technician shall have one (1) year of recent Surface Combatant Weapons System Engineering experience with expertise in strategic planning, design, engineering, installation, activation, and integration of engineering of complex new Land Based test/training capabilities, and/or surface combatant modernization.
Desired Skill Requirements:
Navy combat and weapon systems background/experience.
Able to work in a team environment.
Understanding of Navy protocols.
Education/Equivalent:
